Personal: Michael’s family includes his dad Derek, mom Cindy, and sister Daphne. He started playing baseball when he was 7 years old. He chose baseball because it is fun. Michael is majoring in communications. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and reading. 

Athletic Highlights: All-League in SVC conference.

Most significant achievement in baseball: Throwing a perfect game on the first game of his senior year.

Most embarrassing thing that has happened in baseball:  Pitching in a game with bleached blonde hair
