In the second week of March, the CRC Hawks baseball team played their first three Northern California Conference games. CRC vs Sierra College Wolverines.

CRC vs Sierra College Game 1 

The first game of the conference for CRC and Sierra College was hosted by Sierra College on Tuesday, March 10. 
It was off to a rough start with the Wolverines scoring left and right in the first five innings. The Wolverines totaled five runs and was ahead with a 5-0 lead. 
Then, the game changed to the favor of the Hawks who scored three runs at the top of the 6th inning, two more runs at the top of the 7th inning, and another three runs at the top of the 10th inning. 
The CRC Hawks caught up and won the game! The CRC Hawks won with an 8-5 lead.

CRC vs Sierra College Game 2 

The second game of the conference was hosted by CRC on Thursday, March 12.
Sierra College grabbed the first run of the game at the top of the 1st inning, but the Hawks did not let up on the Wolverines!
At the bottom of the 4th inning, the Hawks scored four runs, one more at the bottom of the 7th, and another at the bottom of the 8th.
The CRC Hawks won the game with a 7-1 lead!

CRC vs Sierra College Game 3

The last game between the Hawks and the Wolverines was played at Sierra College on Saturday, March 14. 
Sierra College broke CRC's two win streak by one point. It was a close one! 
The CRC Hawks scored the first two runs of the game at the top of the 2nd inning. Sierra College scored one run at the bottom 3rd inning. The Hawks added to their lead with another score at the top of the 4th. The scoreboard now read 3-1 with CRC Hawks taking the lead!
Then, the Sierra College Wolverines played a great bottom 5th inning and scored three runs. The Wolverines led the scoreboard with a 4-3 lead.
However, the Hawks did not give up and scored another two runs at the top of the 7th! 
The game was very exciting until the bottom of the 9th inning when the Wolverines scored their winning two runs for the night!
The Sierra College Wolverines won the game with a 6-5 lead.

Summary

The battle between CRC and Sierra College ended with the CRC Hawks winning two out of three conference games.

Get ready for this week's conference games against Modesto College! The first game will be hosted by CRC on Tuesday, March 17, and alternating away at Modesto on Thursday and then back again at CRC on Saturday.
