Hawks hitting and pitching poke holes in Skyline for 8-4 win.

The Hawks finished the season series with Skyline with an 8-4 victory as CRC evened it's record at 2-2 on the year.

Pitching was a strength on the day even while giving up 5 walks on the day. Thomas Galart started and got the win for the Hawks moving to 2-0 on the year while going 4 2/3 innings giving up three hits and three runs along with 3 strikeouts. Galart also had 4 walks on the day. Galart now has a 3.52 era on the young season.

Steven Talbert was the next man up for the Hawks going 2 1/3 innings giving up two hits and one earned run, one strikeout, and one walk. Talbert lowered his era to 1.69 for the season. 

Anthony Castaneda picked up the save with his two perfect innings with three strikeouts in the process.

Every Hawks starter had at least one hit except Peyton Wheatley who drew a walk and came around to score. 

Brett Bloomfield now hitting .353 on the season, had one hit while driving in one and scoring once as well. Brooks Day had two hits and drove in one run while raising his batting average to .357. Brian Morley who raised his average to .467 on the year, was the slugger with two doubles, scoring both times. Billy Rockefeller doubled in his two official plate appearances but also drew three of the Hawks five walks on the day. Jordan Estes, who had another of the Hawks doubles and drove in two runs is now hitting .385 on the season. Jordan Yu had also had a double amongst his two hits while driving in one run, and Damien Chavez, hitting a cool .417 had the final double of the Hawks 7 doubles in the game. Francisco Prado also had a hit to round out the CRC 12 hit parade.

Next up for the Hawks is a road trip to College of the Canyons for a three game series Thursday through Saturday the 11th.
