The Cosumnes River Hawks (16-17, 6-11 Big 8) travel to Santa Rosa (20-7, 10-4) and poured in runs, winning another close game 11 to 9. Burle Dixon and Brett Gieseke led the charge each with 3 hits. Burle Dixon also had 2 more stolen bases in the game. Aaron Pierce led the team with 4 RBI's in the contest.

The Hawks relied on Daniel Vitoria to do the bulk of the work on the mound. Vitoria, threw 4 and 2/3 innings to keep the Hawks close. AJ Wood, came in to get the save facing a tough two batters. The Hawks will finalize the series with Santa Rosa Saturday.
