This Week: The Hawks advanced to the CCCAA Northern California Baseball Regionals where they will take on Skyline College. The regionals will take place Friday through Saturday and the first pitch of game one will be on Friday at 2 pm 

Scouting the Hawks: Cosumnes River finished sixth in the Big 8 Conference regular season standings with a 22-16 overall record and a 11-13 record in conference play. Noah Canter leads the Hawks with a .345 batting average. Noah Rhea-Meaux leads the Hawks in ERA with a 2.04 ERA.

Scouting the Trojans: The Trojans won the Coast Conference-North Division championship with a 29-10 overall record and a 15-5 record in conference play. Ethan Reader leads the Trojans with a .358 batting average. Devin Costa leads the Trojans with a 1.30 ERA.

Last Time Out: This will be the first meeting between the two schools this season.

The Hawks and Trojans have three common opponents – Los Medanos College, Shasta College and West Valley College. Cosumnes River has a 6-1 record against those opponents while the Trojans have a 4-2 record.

Don Mico is in his eighth year as head coach. He had previous coaching stops at Earl Wooster High School in Reno and Sacramento City College.
