  • HANNA MILLER NAMED STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

    The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce it's Week #5 State Player and Pitcher of the Week. Allan Hancock College's Katie Chenault was named the State Pitcher of the Week, while Cosumnes River College's Hanna Miller took home the Player of the Week honors.
  • HORBASCH'S NO HITTER LEADS HAWKS TO 1-0 SHUTOUT OVER CABRILLO

    The Cosumnes River softball team emerged from the opening weekend of the 2015 season 2-2, following a strong showing in the Monterey Peninsula tournament this past weekend. The Hawks took a pair of wins over Coast South power Cabrillo, as sophomore pitcher Amanda Horbasch threw a no-hitter in the finale to earn her second victory of the season.
