 Joined by former teammates, Madison Jayne and Haley Thiel, Abby comes to the Hawks from Capital Christian High School. Some of the highlights for Abby have been playing varsity for 4 years as well as being an All-League player her Sophomore and Senior years. Abby was also an Academic All-League player for all 4 years of high school volleyball. Wanting to work with kids in need, Hicks is studying Social Work at Cosumnes River College. Compassionate is the word that is used to describe Abby off the court. The most inspirational people in her athletic career have been her parents since they were both athletes and encourage her to play.
